What is a walk-a-thon? The MRE Walk-A-Thon will be our biggest fundraiser of the year. We are hoping to raise $20,000! Participants earn money by walking laps during their grade-level time on Wednesday, November 2. Participants will have 20 minutes to walk as many laps as possible. Participants get pledges from family, friends, neighbors, or businesses to support their efforts.
How do I get Pledges? For our walk, we’re using an awesome website that makes it easy for you to request pledges from your family and friends, and for them to make secure credit card donations online. It’s fun and easy!

It is super simple to register for pledgestar so family and friends can make donations. If you have a family member, neighbor or family friend that can only make a cash or check pledge, please have them make their check out to the child’s parent and the parent will make the donation on Pledgestar. Whole School Prizes:
When the school reaches $5,000- students will get a “Costume Day” on Mon, Oct. 31
When the school reaches $10,000- students will get PJ/Stuffed Animal Day Tues, Nov 1
When the school reaches $15,000 - No Homework for an Entire Week! Oct 31-Nov4 &
a movie at lunch every day that week!!
When the school reaches $20,000- Mr. Musgrove & Mrs. Romanchuk “camp out” and
s'mores eating competition!!!

What are my deadlines? Pledges are due by Friday, October 14th
Any pledges collected after that day will help us meet our goal, but may not ensure prizes delivered in time for the walk-a-thon.
