Mrs. Cummins leading the chior in the DARE song.

Congratulations to all our 5th grade students who graduated from DARE the evening of December 10th. These students were recognized for pledging to live a drug free life and use the decision making model taught by Officer Luu to make smart decisions in their every day lives.

Four 5th grade leaders read aloud their DARE essays, and received a medal and stuffed Lion. Although we only heard four essays, every student wrote an essay pledging to be drug free and a plan on how to live a healthy life as they continue to get older.

Officer Luu recognized four students for being the classmate others want to be around, who they go to for help, and is an overall leader in the classroom. Each student received a framed certificate from Officer Luu.

The Mid Rivers Community is so proud of our 5th graders for graduating from the DARE program and their lifelong pledge.
