Kindergarten Orientation: Friday, August 19
Parents, this is your opportunity to help your Kindergarten student transition to Rock Creek Elementary. This is a time to focus on your new student and to attend to information presented by the teacher and other key Rock Creek Elementary staff. We encourage all families to limit attendees to two adults and to make childcare arrangements for other siblings. Thank you!
Please bring your Kindergarten student and all of his/her school supplies with you!

For Mrs. Fahnestock’s and Mrs. Kern’s classes:
8:30 – 9:30 AM Last names A-L
10:00 – 11:00 AM Last names M –Z
For Mrs. Twillman’s class:
8:30 – 9:30 AM Last names A-G
10:00 – 11:00 AM Last names H-Z
During orientation you will also:
- Verify your enrollment data and make any necessary changes.
- Complete forms to assist the teacher and child throughout the school year -- early dismissal information, volunteer opportunities, etc.
- Make a deposit in your child's lunch account. This is optional.
- Complete an application for Free & Reduced Lunch, if applicable.
- Visit with the nurse to verify any health information. You may also drop off any medication your child will need.
- Verify your child’s transportation arrangements for going home after school.
